WE CANNOT PROTECT A COUNTRY WE HAVE STOPPED NOTICING.
Britain contains extraordinary landscapes and wildlife, but much of the natural world survives in fragments. Ancient habitats have disappeared, species have declined and many people have become spectators rather than participants in the land around them.
We do not believe the answer is guilt, empty slogans or another product carrying a vague promise of sustainability.
The answer begins with attention. Go outside. Learn the story. Feel connected to the place. Then turn that connection into something practical.
ATTENTION BECOMES LOVE. LOVE BECOMES ACTION.

EXPEDITION 001: WALES
Britain by Nature began on the road through North Wales, beneath the mountains of Ogwen, beside glacial lakes and among landscapes shaped over thousands of years.
It was partly an expedition and partly an experiment. A chance to discover what this company could become when a real journey, a real landscape and original design were brought together.
The photography, stories and experiences from Wales became the foundation of our first collection. They also established the rule every future collection will follow: we go there first.
Hidden coordinates from the journey are carried within the collection, connecting each garment back to the landscape that inspired it.
WHY I STARTED BRITAIN BY NATURE
I DID NOT START BRITAIN BY NATURE BECAUSE THE WORLD NEEDED ANOTHER CLOTHING BRAND.
I started it because I wanted every sale to genuinely help restore and protect Britain's beautiful natural flora and fauna.
Britain by Nature connects the things I care about most: exploring extraordinary places, uncovering stories worth telling, creating products people are proud to wear and turning commercial success into restoration.
Clothing is where the company begins because it gives people something practical to wear, share and rally around. But the ambition is much larger: expeditions, films, restored land and eventually a regenerative British textile supply chain.
This is not a finished company pretending to have every answer. It is being built in public, expedition by expedition and product by product.
JOE SWIFT
FOUNDER, BRITAIN BY NATURE
YOU BUY THE CLOTHES. TOGETHER, WE BUY THE LAND.
At launch, founder Joe Swift is placing the first £1,000 into the Britain by Nature Land Fund.
From then on, 10% of net product sales revenue will be set aside in a dedicated Land Fund account. Our aim is to use it to acquire, restore and protect land in Britain.
This is not a vague promise to support nature one day. We will publish the balance, explain major decisions and document the journey from the first sale to the first restoration site.

LEAVE IT BETTER
THE FUTURE SHOULD BE GROWN HERE.
Today, Britain by Nature works with external production partners. That is the honest starting point, not the final destination.
Our long-term ambition is to help build a traceable British supply chain using regenerative fibres, skilled manufacturing and materials connected to healthy landscapes.
We want to meet the farmers, growers, mills and makers, document what we learn and gradually move more of the journey from fibre to finished garment closer to home.
NOW
Launch honestly, prove demand, improve every product and place 10% of net product sales revenue into the Land Fund.
NEXT
Develop stronger relationships with British material, manufacturing and restoration partners.
FUTURE
Grow regenerative fibres, make Britain by Nature clothing here and help rebuild the infrastructure needed for other brands to do the same.
